MAPPING THE MAIN PROCESSES OF FIREARM TRAINING
The main processes of firearm training are herewith listed, in detail, for your convenience.
Our firearm competency courses are designed by Global Firearm Trainer (GFT) and approved with the Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) that is the SAQA registered and recognised professional body for Firearm Training Professionals.
These unit standards are developed by experts in the field to help you learn the proper handling and shooting of firearms. The completion of the relevant unit standards are mandatory before the SAPS will take in any application for Competence to possess a firearm.
Quality begins with sound fundamentals. During each phase of instruction, our instructors will work closely with each student to ensure that they have the concepts, information, skills and support necessary to turn you into a responsible firearm owner.
The proses work as follow:
Pre-assessment Meeting
The student will be required to complete the course registration form with all the student’s personal information and course detail being enrolled for.
